2. Physico-chemical Properties
This product is a colorless transparent liquid with boiling point of 68℃, flash point of-10℃ (closed cup), melting point of-131℃, density of 0.883 g/mL (25℃), and refractive index of 1.398 (20℃). Unsoluble in water, and mismixed with ethanol and acetic ether.

4. Characteristics and uses
Chloroisobutane is an important organic synthetic raw material. Because of its structural chlorine atoms are very lively, it can react with aryamine and fat amine, and deactivate hydrogen chloride to produce the corresponding amine.Therefore, it can be used as propylene polymerization catalyst component, organic synthesis and solvent, as pharmaceutical raw material, plasticizer, solvent, pesticide raw material, dewaxing agent, analytical chemical reagent, but also in the rubber industry.
5. Packaging specifications
This product is packed with 200L iron or plastic barrels lined with PVF cover with net weight of 170kg.The bucket is filled with nitrogen and gas protection, and the packaging bucket is tightly sealed.
6. Storage and transportation requirements
Transportation: The transportation vehicles of this product shall be equipped with corresponding varieties of fire-fighting equipment, and it is strictly prohibited to mix with edible chemicals. Heavy impact should be prevented and kept away from heat source to avoid sun and rain.
Storage: The product shall be strictly sealed and stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated environment, far away from fire and heat source. Store separately with acid, alkali, and oxidant.Storage period for 12 months under the specified transportation and storage conditions.
